Tassos Vavvas

The entrepreneur Tassos Vavvas was born in Alexandria, Egypt.

He graduated from BCA College and holds an MBA Business Administration degree in Marketing science. He started his career in 1985 in the family business of personal care products Flax Ltd., one of the leading companies in its field, with LifoPlus and Mythos Brands.

In 1990, he took over the management of the family business, modernizing the production model and expanding its product mix. He has experience of important strategic partnerships with multinational companies.

In 1996 he was awarded the gold prize at the international exhibition in Poznan, Poland. Mr. Vavvas is active voluntarily with the cosmetics industry, as a member of the Board of the Association of Cosmetic Industries (PSVAK) and chairman of the export committee. He is also a member of the Observatory of Entrepreneurship at SEV. In 2023 his company was distinguished in the institution of the Bravo sustainability Awards, while in 2024, received 4 awards in the Planted based awards.

He adopts the "Problem solver" attitude as a way of thinking, with a search for creativity and innovation. Mr. Vavvas holds two Patent diplomas from OBI.
