Christina Deligianni
Ms. Christina Deligianni, an EU Climate Pact Ambassador, is the Policy & Programs Director of the Institute for Sustainable Development at EPLO and the Managing Director of Verimpact, that includes innovative ESG AI-based assessment and training tools. She has more than 20 years of professional experience in public policy, sustainability and business development in the public and private sectors. A linguist by training, she taught English and Translation as an adjunct professor (University of Chicago, University of Athens, French Institute of Athens), and served as Chief of Staff for the Dean of the Hellenic Parliament, and as Senior Advisor at two Greek Ministries. Her high-profile public and political affairs positions (US, and Australian embassies) have added to her experience with different administration and governance systems.
Since 2014, she has worked on international and European projects in new technologies, the blue economy, ESG and sustainability for private clients and entities that include the National Fund of Greece, the European Commission, FAO/GFCM, Ominvest and the OMRAN Group. Currently, running three EU-funded research projects on blue economy, deep tech and climate change adaptation.
She holds an MA in the Humanities (University of Chicago, Fulbright Scholar), and a BA in English and Greek. She is fluent in Greek, Spanish, English and has studied Mandarin Chinese and Italian.
