Rozalia Thalassinou

Rozalia Thalassinou is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of expertise in EU policies, financial instruments, and state aid schemes. Currently serving as Loans & State Aid Director at Hellenic Development Bank SA, she leads a team in developing and managing risk-sharing financial instruments and collaborates closely with Greek public authorities to ensure compliance with EU regulations. Rozalia has successfully launched multiple co-financed loan funds and manages a significant loan portfolio, demonstrating strong strategic planning and project management skills.

Previously, as Head of Guarantees Dept at Hellenic Development Bank SA and Advisor to the Secretary General of Public Investments & ESPA at the Ministry of Development & Investments, Rozalia played key roles in launching guarantee funds and providing advisory support on financial instruments. Her extensive experience also includes managing programs for competitiveness and innovation, as well as coordinating EU co-financed projects in digital applications and audiovisual sectors. Rozalia holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics and Finance and has completed executive education in Business Analytics from the University of Cambridge.
